What can you say but wonderful. My daughter is in her senior year and is already sad about the though of moving on. She has grown into a beautiful caring and giving women. We are so glad she choose the academy. The girls who decide on there own to attend this awesome school are the success stories. The great news is will have twins who just entered fourth grade so we have many more happy years to come. Take a look and experience the love and respect that is so prevalent in there daily lives.

We currently have our daughter there, she has being for 3 year now and we just love it. Principals & teachers are very special. Campus is magnificient and extra-curriculum programs are great. Parents should get more involve, interacting and participating in the parent fellowship group or others activities with the academy.

This school has taken a turn for the worse! There was a time that your money would have been well spent. Listen to the recent feedback provided A word to the wise!

ASJ is not the school of years ago, don't be fooled by the ASJ online video or the beautiful campus. Girls are disrespectful to each other as well as to teachers. Rules are not reinforced. Dress codes are violated. Administration is constantly changing. Guidance counselors are condescending and not supportive of all students. Be prepared to have no help in filling out your daughters college applications. Enrollment is decreasing therefore student activities are very limited. Be careful with your daughters high school education choice.

As an active student in the Academy, i would like to express the great disappointment on attending this school. The school is slowly but surely falling apart and is in desperate need of a revamping. The teachers have no control of the classroom, girls are disrespectful, and there is barely any learning going on. it is extremely hard to know this about school, even if you shadow you can not gather enough info about the behavior of girls. Uniform violations are not recognized and kids who are good get in trouble. Teachers need a degree in insanity to work there, and their guidance department is horrible. They do not offer any activites My advise Do not attend and do not consider, u will be extremely disappointed!

The lower school emphasizes traditional learning while incorporating lessons on respect for others, leadership skills, and religion. The school is set up like on family (all the children get to interact and know each other regardless of age). Overall, most of the teachers and admin are very helpful and understanding to the children and their needs. There are very little activities for the lower school available, but there is an after care facility (Shepard's Gate - not affliated) located on the school's grounds.

my daughter transferred there as a junior and the change has beenvery positive. Her grades have gone to all As. She easily adapted to the uniforms, The teachers are involved and caring. The campus is beautiful. The small classes make a positive attitude. It is not run like an armed security camp which is the attitude one gets in the bay shore high school I would totally recommend this school without any hesitations. If you are not satisfied with your present school check this one out you will be very pleasantly surprised. Nothing but high grades for this school.

My daughter attends this school and absolutely loves it. She looks forward every moring in going to school. The teachers are caring, understanding and have lots of patience. If I were not moving out of state my daughter would attend this school until she graduates.

I graduated here in 1994 and loved it! Small classes and great teachers! I made lots of good friends and had fun!

great place - could benifit from a high enrolment, peronalized attention, good variety of classes for its size... Rich in traditions... sad to see former principal leave... has the feel of a true private school.
