I left NYC primarily because I found this exceptional school. The children are getting an excellent education and are taught to adhere to a strong ethical code called the Core Values. The school prepares kids for the future by teaching them how to think. My kids love it and they are doing fantastically well.

Great little school, could be more challenging academically.

Hampton Day School, now called the Morriss Center School, is a very nurturing, creative setting where parents can count on their children being safe, challenged in most areas, and encouraged to realize their full potential. Classes are about 16 students with one teacher. My daughter has grown there in many ways -- she has more confidence, the same verve and curiosity for learning, as well as better social skills. Her teachers have been excellent. To her, the community has always been supportive and caring. It might not have the most extensive science lab, or a full-out physical education division of after-school sports, but in all other ways, it has proved to be a great experience for the both of us.
