P.S.7 is an excellent school that has teachers who really push and care about the children. My daughter was fortunate to have Ms.Katz, who is one of the best teachers. She pushed my daughter, who not only struggled in Reading, but hated to read. My daughter entered third grade reading below grade level and left Ms. Katz's class not only reading on grade level, but loves to read.Ms. Katz worked so hard with her and made her believe in herself. My daughter is now at Riverdale 141 and in honors English. When she is older she wants to be a reading teacher. Thank you to Ms.Katz and all of the inspiring teachers at P.S.7. You all are making a big difference in our children's lives.

The School offers a great chance for students to flourish. The rest is up to the parents. If they work with the teachers, and hold their students to a high standard, PS 7 will be a great partner.

Poor Leadership. Administration is focused on own livelihood, not for the well being of students. Administration is dishonest and spiteful. Administration places blame on students and parents for own insufficiencies.

My nephew I adopted went to this school and the teachers were very attentive to his needs and patient with him considering that he is an hyper-active child. I felt they did a great job in working with him and keeping me informed on his daily progress.

I attended this school not too long ago. I loved all my teachers. Thank you Mrs. Acosta, Mrs. Cruz, and Ms. Aguayo. I'll always remember you!

I have found this school to be really great. The children are actively engaged in their lessons through many hands on activities, as well as the incorporation of art into the units being studied. The teachers work as a team in their planning and support one an other. As for the administrative personnel, they are always there for whatever you may need.

My son attended P.S. 7, for the most part all schools in the Bronx are in need improvements, recently security has become a problem at P.S. 7, children are not on grade level in any subjects, PTA is not encouraged and teachers don't work hand in hand with the parents.
