Heaven forbid you enroll your child in this school and not speak English. I realize this is a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood, but it is changing and the staff needs to adapt with it. There are some great teachers whose efforts are stymied by the inadequate office & support staff from the principal on down, who all seem to be stuck in their 70s mindset.

the school has improved alot since they've changed principals and assistant principals...you can see the difference in last years test scores alone...i think the school now has who it needs to be an 'A' grade school...Ms. Toledo actually cares about what her students are learning and how much they're learning...

My son has only been in this school for 1 year and ha is doing very well. My son has learned more spanish than he has in his life and, the school year has just begun. I feel that my son teacher is teaching the kids well. Im not too sure about the principal but I will look into that. I also reviewed their test scores and the kids are passing so obviously they are doing something right. I could be wrong but so far the school has my vote.

This school's principal, and assistant principal are not concerned with the students. My child attended pre-k here for 5months and I'm glad I transferred him. The test scores are low and there is absolutely no concern from the heads. The only ones making any sense here are the school socialworker and the parent coordinator. I don't recommend this school.
