P.S. 71 Rose E Scala

I have 3 children in the school, and even though it is crowded it is a great school. That is why it is crowded!. My children have had great teachers, and if they need extra help they receive it. PS 71 holds nice activities for the kids and provides a safe environment for the students.

Everyone in P.S. 71, from the principal on down, tries to make this a caring atmosphere for the children.

I think that some of the younger teachers in this school do not have a lot of patience for our younger children.

I'm a mother of two boys. My 11 year old has been attending PS71 since K , and my 5 year old will attend K this coming Sept. 2010 I love the security of the school, the studies and the teachers, The teachers are kind great with the students.

So far my chldren's experience at PS71 has been extremely exciting! My 9 yr old, now in 4th grade, was really struggling when she entered this school 3 yrs ago. Her teachers have been very engaged in helping her succeed in her classes. My 7 yr old, now in 2nd grade loves all his teachers. I love the communication the school keeps going with the parents and how they're always engaging the parents to become more involved with their children's school work and activitites

I love the school. The teachers really care. My son has been at the school since kindergarten and is now in 5th grade he loves math and his teachers. It has a positive attitude and agenda. Awesome!
