This school is a wonderful place for children to learn. The learning environment combine with a great staffs made PS 86 a excellent choice for my children. As a parent I'm more than please with the Principal Mr. Bernardo a great professional and all the teachers at the school. Ms. Sacks an A plus teacher, Mr. Ambranson and Ms. Skiba among others. It's a great team.... Well done Mr. Bernardo!!!
I love this school!! I am in the graduating class of Ms. Livingston, and she has set me up for amazing middle schools!! I had her last year also, and she helped me get my first ever 4 on the ELA Exam!! She is very inspirational and fun.
Great school i graduated from 6th grade my sister when to japan thanks to this school and now my girl is attending is in this school!!
This is an amazing school. The principal Mr. Bernardo is WONDERFUL! His professional, yet friendly demeanor and his zero tolerance for bad behavior is to be commended. I am thankful to this school for the wonderful programs and opportunities that it has negotiated and made available to students. Not only does this equip them academically and socially, it will also help mold their personalities to take pride and care about their success! I was in attendance at a meeting held by the school with the Community Education Council who wanted to change our school and merge it with a middle school and I must say that I was in a state of complete euphoria! The auditorium was packed to capacity! When our school was announced, the cheer and pride was astounding! There was an overwhelming sense of school pride and unity that was simply AMAZING! Their principal is an great leader, not only does he possess an admirable take-charge, zero-tolerance attitude, but he is warm and approachable, friendly, bilingual and understanding. This is, without a doubt a great and enjoyable school to be a part of!!
One of the reasons I like this school is because all the teachers my child has had understands me as a concerned parent. Both the teachers and I work mutually to improve my child's grades.
i am a student and this is the best school i have ever attended. i have been given the opportunity to visit Japan in the 5th grade and am going to San Francisco this year. The teachers and principles are great.
I am a student of the 5th grade in this school and I have to say that this is the best school I ever been too.
Its definately an A rating school Family atmosphere. Super safe and the Teachers are great and very knowledgeable.Lots of activities and trips and the entire staff takes a personal approach and concern to each child. I couldn't have put my daughter in a better school. Its right up there with the privates schools I feel if not better than some.
they have children to escort children into school premises instead of adults children watching children no good
They have the best kids in all of New York. And the cutiest too! They are so loveable and respectable. They are the best! And this school has the best teachers. The teachers care about these kids and they teach them what the world is going to throw their way in the years to come. This is New York, they're young now, but they will survive and they will remember their thrid grade teacher in many many moons to come...
