I'm a former student at this school and i can honestly say this school prepares and motivates students to excel in everything that they do. The academics are on point and help students on the road to what they would learn in high school. The extra curricular activities are Great and interesting. I was in a few shows myself and i can say that the support from parents and students really help with the school progress.. ILOVEDD thats school! SPECTRUM ACADEMY!
I am a parent of a student at MS 118. I love this school because they have high expectations for all students. My child has blossomed since attending this school. Also, they have so many opportunities for the families to be involved. I especially love their open door policy. I am welcomed any day and at any time!
I love M.S.118 because it is the bomb. I have really gotten along with my teachers and AP'S
I'm a student at 118. My name is Samiha and im graduating this year at Pace Academy. This school really prepares you for high school, and even further on, college. There are different extracurricular activities, such as an intern being paid. I really like this school and it really helped me further on in my education. You get to take 2 regents classes in math and science. This school will really help you in your future and you should really apply for this school, or have your child apply to it.
MS 118 is the best! My child loves the school and is involved in a few extracurricular activities (I can't keep up!) It shows that the Principal cares because there are so many great things going on at the school not only for students and parents but for the entire family too!
My child graduated from MS 118 in June 2009. He has excelled in a way that no one would expect. My child came to the US only 1 year ago without knowing any English. He left MS 118 speaking, reading, and writing English on his level; he passed the reading and math state tests. This was only possible with the help of the wonderful teachers of MS 118. I thank God for this school!
I am a parent and I love MS 118. They challenge their students and they keep parents well informed. The new Prnicipal is a really nice lady. She has done great things with the school.
its a good school to go to you learns new things there =]
personally, as a student i feel that the area surrounding the school is very dangerous and school safety should be more strongly enforced, both outside of the school and much more strict actions about school safety in the school itself.
I am an Almuni to M.s.118. I graduated in the year of 2008. I attended Pace Academy. Pace is a wondrful preparation for high school. The eighth graders take two high school regents so that way by the time they get to hogh school they already have credits. The teachers of Pace Academy work hard fr the children to strive at their best. I would recommend this to school for anyone who wants a good future and has the ability to work to their fullest potential.
