The classes are overcrowded and my child is not recieving a quality education at this school. I am moving out of the area so my child can get a good education. My child might as well have been in public school. Tuition was a waste of money.

If you would like your child to go to a school that is small and family oriented, I would strongly suggest St. Helena. My son atteded Pre-k and kindgarten. While his Pre-k experience wasn't that great (issues with teacher), he loves his kindergarten class. I think this school is good because you have a relationship with the staff, but as far as learning I don't see the difference between private and public. My son is not getting an extrodinary education, but he is at the standard level for his age. What I like about other schools, is that they give the children 'cite words', which they have not practiced in this school. I don't think they take the extra mile (like charter schools), but its ok if a small environment is what you are looking towards.

St Helena maintains a combination of hit and miss teachers. Your child may have a great teacher one year and one with inadequate teaching skills the next.

I am the parent of two young boys that are presently enrolled in St.Helena School. I could not ask for a better environment for my children to spend their crucial school years.I have had many experiences with other schools, but St. Helena is by far the BEST. I am so pleased with this school, the teachers, their principal and all who are involved. The discipline and education children receive there is unsurpassed. But most important, they truly care for the children at their school.I know my boys are well looked after and will be at St.Helena until they graduate from the eigth grade.

My daughter is in her third year at St. Helena's and she loves it. The teachers are always warm and friendly to both the students and the parents. It is a very good school and a pleasant overall environment.

I am not a parent, but a former student and this a a great school to send your children to. They have many extracurricular for everyone to be involved in. The teachers are amazing leaders and make class a fun and a pleasant environment to be in.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
