Love my old school STA!! I'm glad my son is attending. He enjoys the school and is also leaning. The teachers are good at teaching & communicating with the parents. I'm so looking foward to my son's future!!

St Thomas Aquinas is a great school, has great teachers, great people working there. The staff really care about the students and their parents, they make you feel as you are part of a big family. The students have a good academic level compared with the public school, they also learn how to behave, how to respect others and values in life. There is no more to say than it is a great school. You should came a see for yourself.

Great teachers and great people work here, and your child will learn how to behave, I can tell you the education they receive here is completly different than a public school the manners are notice, the language is a respecful one, your child will come out with the greatest education ever. not only learning the class lessons, but learning the values one needs. The formation of real great man and woman start here. Every one question me where did my son went for school and I can proudly said St Thomas Aquinas. I was a student at this school for ten years. From pre-k 4 up to the eighth grade. I was there when Mr. Burke was still there. I had the most fun . I was in band and in chours . We had a inrichment program that would take place every year, that was both was fun and educational. I do agree in the winter it would get cold, but so would my apartment building that was suppose to have heat. I think with help from the community this school could be great. This school is historical my mom ,mmy aunts and my uncles also went there.

I must defend this school. the principal came into this school to help adjust all the problems and she has done a wonderful job. You all have to remember, this is a Catholic school that receives no funds from the city like Public Schools. So the after school activities are not available. The teachers are fantastic. They are the top of the line, in my opinion. the school has cleaned up what was mentioned, but I have never seen these issues. All food is well prepared with a health concern for all children. You cannot get 5 star rating for food in any school, even the public school. this school is in a low income area so we need to depend on the parents to help out too. I have not seen many parents helping out, so if they did, then we can be a top notch school as well.

The school is in jeopardy of closing. No heat, mice, roaches are just some of the problems that this school is facing and Rev. Lorenzo Ato refuses to fix. Again the NY Archdiocese has been made aware of these ongoing problems and have done nothing.
