I attended school from 1st grade to 8th grade. It was a great school I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the school. The staffs were great and wonderful. I dont know if any of them are still around now. If i was living in New York now and had little ones that would be the school that they would attend.

As the school year ends, I have to say that I am so thrilled to have St. Augustine School in the life of my daughter. She has grown up and become a lady. I really mean lady. Mr. Brady said to me that students don't met the standard, but they set the standard. It is very true. As my daughter graduates i know she will go on to do great things. I hope to keep contact with the school and know that we will never forget the excellent teachers, administators and community.

I never thought a school like this would exist in the South Bronx. During the Opening Ceremony, the Principal said that the school is where hope becomes reality. That is soo true. The Principal and her administration and staff are wonderful. Parent contact is always going on. And my son has changed so much. He is mature and wants to learn. They are tough on academics, but offer things to help parents and students. God is good, God gave me St. Augustine School.

I just visited the school, and was shocked at the amazing discipline and education that takes place in this building. Students are learning, teachers are really teaching. It is remarkable. Out of many Catholic schools that I have sought to enroll my children, this one is by far the best. The Prinicpal and Vice Principal are great people who care. They promote a safe enviroment where every child learns.

St. Augustine School is a great school. The principal is a great leader and the children there seem to be well behaved. My daughter is in kindergarten there, her teacher is wonderful. She loves the school and has made new friends. She gets music, computers, gym and has art. She learning in a traditional setting. Her handwriting is beautiful because the teacher has taken the time with each child to show them the proper way to write. They had a Christmas concert this year which was excellent. She gets homework every night except for weekends and she is given test weekly to makes sure she understands the curriculum. The discipline and safety is very good, I have no problems with that. Overall the school is excellent, if your looking for an excellent Catholic School chose this one, you will never regret it.

The classes are overcrowded. The classes are outdated. They are in desperate need of a makeover. The teachers or staff dont make up for it. What i have learned throughout my childs attendance is that their only concern first and foremost is the tuition money. Anything could wait. Enrolling my child was a big regret. Cant wait until the year is over. It has been unfortunate because as a parent I dont think it is healthy to move a child from school to school. Dont make the same mistake! Good Luck.
