Intensive Hebrew language and Jewish culture plus strong academics. Many nurturing teachers who see kids from preschool age through bar/bat mitzvah and graduation. Principal present in classrooms and hallways, knows every child's name and where they're supposed to be. Energetic and creative parent input into school development.

Both my sons went there and it was a home away from home with a personal nurturing atmosphere. I was always included as if i were there.

Kinneret is a great school because it is small so everyone knows each other and cares about each other. It also produces great results for admissions to the specialized NYC high schools.

A good school with a family feel to it. It is small enough to give it's students personalized attention, yet large enough to give them a variety of experiences. All academic subjects are taught here, plus computer, art, music and gym. There is a separate yet integrated Hebrew curriculum, too. Parents volunteer in the various fund raising programs that benefit the school. Eighth graders have traditionally entered strong high school programs, well prepared for the work assigned there.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
