This is not a real school! Parents don't spend your money on this school! Try St.Clare's just down the street. In this school the parents are in charge- not the principal. The parents make the rules and run everything! Trust me- I took my kids out of there!

I am a student here at St. Francis Xavier. I will be going into the 7th grade and this school is the best wether its at accademic functions, to prepairing us for high school, and even having some of the best basket ball and cheerleading teams around. Sure the lunch mothers are sometimes strict and the priincipal sometimes an attitude, but they are prepairing me and others to actually be something when we grow up. And to all you that say that this school was too much, I think its the perfect amount for all the knowledge we get every year. I mean some of these kids are getting accepted into Bronx Highshool of Science, and Regis! So take that!

My child has been a student at this school for 4 years. The education could be better. The teaching strategies are antiquated and the teachers are stuck in a time warp. The 'in crowd' runs this school and if your not in the 'in crowd' you are not even considered for any extra curricula activites. The principal has an attitude toward anyone who does not belon in her clique. Extremely overpriced school that doesn't fit the bill.

My child has liked all his teachers and grades received have been excellent, including ITBS results. Teachers have all seemed pleasant and caring. Principal could be more friendly to the parents, but I believe she does an overall excellent job and tries to do what is best for the students.

As a former pupil in this belittling establishment St. Francis Xavier fails to be a great school in the Bronx. I can say even less about the Principle who does not even show her students achievements

This school has been a huge disappointment. My child ended up here when his school closed down and from the very first day he was ostrasized. Parents, especially 'lunch mothers', run the school. The principal has a 'my way or the highway' attitude. The teachers are not the friendliest and are quick to judge the students.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
