This school is amazing. We have been part of this beautiful community for close to six years now and I can't say enough about the quality of staff, quality of education, attention and care provided to our kids, and every single aspect of the school environment. Strong general studies, fluency in 3 languages (kids read and write in English, Hebrew, and Russian), rich Judaic studies component, various extracurricular activities (during the school day as well as on premises after school), caring staff that knows every child by name, and knows every single family in the school, and most importantly amazing children that come from truly outstanding families. Children are happy and excited to go to school every day - it doesn't happen often, especially in schools of NYC.

I had my son in Mazel for several years now and my second child will join him next year. The school had been an excellent experience for the whole family and I seen my child blossom academically and in character. He is advanced in math and science and the school had worked closely with him to provide him enrichment work to continue to challenge himself, while working with him on strengthening his academic weaknesses. As importantly he is growing up to be a respectful and confident young man all due to the character traits that are taught and emphasized in school.

I am very happy with this school. Warm, caring environment, emphasis on character development and life skills in addition to academics. Teachers and administration truly care about individual child. My kids transfered to Mazel from public school and it became their second home. Parents' feedback and involvement is always welcome, our concerns are taken seriously. Friendly students and staff!

Great school in every aspect. Warm environment, excellent curriculum, amazing staff. Teaches kids to be self sufficient and capable while instilling great values. We couldn't be happier!

This is our second and last year at this school. If you're looking for a school that creates an encouraging and educational environment with qualified staff, AVOID this school at all costs. They're absolutely terrible at everything the only thing that's working well here is .. Well nothing that helps your child in any way. Not only do they lack the knowledge, skills or basic effort- they extremely bad at labeling children with negative labels and unqualified diagnosis. What ever you do avoid these guys - check and double check before even coming near this school. Please take these words too heart - this is the worst school in Brooklyn!

Mazel is a home away from home for our family. The warm, caring environment coupled with values- oriented education is exactly what we were looking for! The parent community makes you feel part of a team! We could not be happier!

Great school. I highly recommend to anyone. They have great combination of Jewish education and at the same time picking up innovations.

Committed to the ideals and values of progressive education, Mazel Day School provides an engaging environment for both teachers and learners. As a part of their committed staff, it has been a pleasure watching the school grow and develop its commitment to staff development and providing for an education of the whole child.

Mazel is one the best things that happened to my family. Caring teachers, warm and loving environment make this school a unique place. High academics in combination with values, respect and love for learning makes me feel good as a parent and makes my children happy students. Mazel is home away from home.

Never been happier with the education that my child receives in this school. Individual success is extremely important in this school. Kids are not just Leopard for the test but for success in life.
