This is one of the best schools my son went to. The Teachers, Ms. Flash and Mr. Tenhor, is very dedicated to their kids, he is the 4th grade teacher, Ms.Flash is his 6th grade teacher and my son graduated Top Student 2004, since 5th grade graduated also. I was glad for the experience and hope that they continue to help all other students.

I feel that P.S.8 provided me with an excellent education. Not only were most of the teachers outstanding educators who really cared about each child, but the diverse mix of kids from middle income high rises and apartment complexes in Brooklyn Heights, and low income housing in Farragut gave all students a chance to learn valuable lessons from each other. I still run into teachers from P.S.8 on the street, and, although I graduated ten years ago, they remember me and greet me enthusiastically. P.S.8 really had a wonderful community of parents, teachers and students.
