My two children attended PS 124. The teachers work very hard to help the children. Also the parents of the children who attend the school are there for the children and the school.

P.S.124 works very hard at building community. The school strives to ensure that the children of the school are everyones children. The Principal and staff take the time to get to know the children indivually, that is a very special quality.

This is an excellent school to send children. The principal is a wonderful person who gives so much of her self to the children and if any problems arise, you are always welcomed to speak to her and the parent coordinator is there for anytime and she always looks out for the best interest of the children. There is no other school I would send my children to, the teachers are great and they expect your child to succeed in school. I also like the fact they have saturday Academy for the greade's 3-5 to help them test prep. for the state test. This is a number 1 school in my opinion!!!

I sent my child here because, frankly, we had no other option. There is a particular schools in this neighborhood has a reputation for being the 'it' school, and you can only get in if you are lucky and zoned. However, this is the little gem that is completely missed. I absolutely ADORE THIS SCHOOL. Early on in the year, I discovered that the entire staff knew my son by name - from the teachers, principal, assistant princple, front office staff, parent coordinator - he was always greeted with a warm hello. His teacher has such compassion, dedication and PATIENCE- I could not have hand picked a better teachers than Ms. Tait & Ms. Woods to transition him into school life. The whole school rejoices in the achievements of their students and goes out of their way to create enrichment programs for students and families. We may have wound up here by chance, but I am thrilled to be here. Come join the family!

I have worked as a one-on-one volunteer tutor at PS 124 since last year. I have been very impressed with the teachers and staff. There is a respect for the students and a sense of community there.
