I went to this school back in 1985. My brother and sister went to this school as well. If I lived near by, my children would be attending PS 164. The best school, teachers ever!

I love working at this school. The principal is great. She really cares about the students and teachers. We, as teachers, are encouraged to guide our students in every way possible, reaching out to parents and making parent/teacher communication a priority. I sent my own son to this school for 3 years and he would still be there if they had a gifted and talented program.

PS 164 is one of the best schools they care about your children. If your child is not doing well they will get him or her the help that they require. I recommend this school 100%

P.S 164 is outstanding. The teachers are great. My 2 older children started 3rd grade last year mid year. They both excelled. They are both doing very well in 4th grade. Mrs Donlan in my opinion is the best teacher my son has ever had. My youngest started K this year and has wonderful teachers. I'm very satisfied.

P.S 164 is an outstanding school! The teachers are great. The principal is very kind and the same goes with the assistant-principal. The music teacher Mr.Mancini is strict but very kind and funny. The science teacher is the best. I can never find a science teacher nicer then her. The art teacher is the same. She's nice and teaches how to draw very nice. ALL the teachers are great!

I had both my children at P.S. 164 in Grades Pre-K through 2nd grade for my daughter and Pre-K and K for my son. The leadership at the school is excellent, the teachers outstanding and the school is a very pleasant and safe environment for the children thanks to the excellent security provided by Miguel. My disappointment with the school was the lack of opportunity to excel for children who did not need 'special' attention. This caused me to send my kids to Catholic School.
