McKinley259 is awesome! me and my friends have been here since sixth grade, and we're graduating this year, and we love it. They are currently adding an extra extension to the school, and all the eighth graders got to sign one of the beams. Our school does tons of fun stuff, and the teachers are fun most of the time. :) i reccomend it! We learn alot, and still have fun doing so, like this year we had a mock operation. We also go on many fun trips, and getting good grades isn't problem for most students, for example my friends and i get great grades, and still have fun!

And I love that 259 but P.A. for the students.Dancing for three years straight,is wow! hard work, but hard work pays off. i love ms.applegates<3. she's amazing.and so is everyone else that works there! 259 is a well-ordered school. They're very welcoming and they are very very, safe. It's amazing.

Mckinley a fabulous school. I currently go there and is now a 7th grader.I still remember the first day of school in 6th grade all the teachers were helping us going to our classes cause we didn't know how to get around. The mckinley Family is amazing all the staff and teachers are very welcoming. There is also the superitendents program which I'm in. Mckinley is the pride of Bay Ridge and a 'A' rated school. I love Mckinley

I am currently in the 8th grade and in the honors program. Mckinley is an awsome school! At first i wasn't so thrilled about going but im glad i did. Many people say its a bad school but it isnt. They might have bad kids but they have them in ever school. Just pay attention to class and do the best you can and stay out of trouble. I love this school. There like my second family and many of the teachers are awsome! (espically my 7th and 8th grade teachers.) They have many activites for you to join and if you ever need help, you can always go in the morning b4 school and they'll help you. Its the best school!

I really like mckinley....except Freshman Friday -_- But it is still awesome, students will do bad things and bully others at times. But Mckinley is the best and idc if another school gets better grades than mckinley, cuz I.S. 259 is the place to be!

I currently go to McKinley, and I'm in the 7th grade. To be honest, the school is okay. I mean, not the worst, not the best. The do have a lot of programs kids can join, and the teachers are okay. But most really don't care about the kids. If a kids doing bad, they don't help, they just fail them. That is very bad, and pretty much all that I don't like about the school.

I seriously enjoyed my three years of Mckinley. It made me reach up to my potential and I made every effort to go from a regular student, to a honor student & I've been on the hallway honor roll ever since! =) I loved my teachers; and they've really opened up to me and showed me a lot more than I could actually learn and accomplish. I'm a proud mckinley graduate of 2008!

i love mckinley but some teachers are to nice that when kids get in trouble they dont care because they think they could get away with it and the school i think needs more stricted teachers and the deans dont want to susspend kids that are bad bc they say their rankings will go down but hello they threatend a fight here this should be fixed by them getting susspended
