this schol is the best i been there since 1st grade i loved it everyone was helpful the teachers care about the what we learnd and make sure we undersatand it ms lane is one of the best she took time to indaviually help us ms johnson was awsome too everyone respected her
My son goes here and my problem is that they need more activities for all the students to participate in, and they need to be more accomodating when it comes to after school because not only 3rd to 5th graders mom has to work, everyone has to work so everyone should be able to attend after school if they need to.
This is an excellent school that is making great strides in math and reading and the arts. There is an active parent group that meets regularly and is provided on a weekly basis with workshops on various issues. The administration is well equipped in handling myriad issues common to a busy inner city school.
I Think that there is room for improvement. I also feel that if siblings deserve to go to the excelarated class they both should go. Even if it is one excelarated class each grade.
I have two daughters at this school and every day you see signs of improvement,they are exposed to music and art, and the parental involvement is excellent.
This is the worst school I've ever seen in my life. The teacher student ratio is unbelievable, the children are not properly supervised during lunch, there are no extra curricular activities and the staff is horrible.
