This is one of the best elementary schools in Brooklyn. I graduated 5th grade the year of 2011. I was learning in this school since kindergarten and it gave me a great education. I really enjoyed it here.

My little brother loves this school! The teachers are hands-on and the school lunch is good (an inexpensive option - and surprisingly good for a public school price). the kids there are most often well-behaved, and they have amazing afterschool programs: from dance, to educational, to jazz. They are a little selective, and maybe hard to schedule, but the children REALLY love the afterschool programs

My daughter has been in the gifted program at P.S 312 since kindergarten. I love this school. It has such a warm, nurturing and loving environment(small setting). The teachers really care. This is an excellent school.

I transferred my daughter to this school from a private school paying too much in tuition. What a pleasant surprise! She got more in the two years in 312 than she did at the private school. The teachers are great! The methods of teaching are phenomenal! I love that kids are not just taught the subjects but also study skills and life skills. I wish she was there from pre-K. My second daughter will be starting pre-k next year.

PS312 is truly a community school. Children who enter experience a warm, friendly and loving atmosphere. Teachers are very caring and they work very hard to ensure that every child is performing at their best. In addition the administration and assistants are very helpful and resourceful, providing parents with guidance when needed. The parent teacher association works tirelessly to ensure that the school is not lacking in additional funds and support. They enable the school to go the extra mile to provide services to the students. When my son walks through the doors at PS 312, I am confident that he will be in a loving and supportative environment that ensures he is performaning at his best and meeting his academic goals. PS 312 is his home away from home.

My sons both attend 312. 7 yr old & 4 yr old boys love the diversity of the school and staff. My 7 yr old has been in the gifted program since Kindergarten. My 4 yr old just tested for the gifted Eagke program as well. I love this school in Brooklyn. The bergen Beach area is great to live in and great school to go with the area.

I love this school, we moved last year to this school and everybody was really helpfull, Ms. Pino is the best, she is always around and helpful and smiling, when you have any concern you get help on the spot. My other son will be going this year to Kinder and I am happy for that.

PS 312 The Bergen Beach School is absolutely wonderful. The teachers and curriculum are great. My son is entering kindergarten this year. But last year in Pre-K I was surprised to find that out of all his friends he was one of the few receiving homework assignments with books to read with sight words. We also enjoyed book fairs, plant sales, special occasion parties, after school programs, computer and library access and extra curricular activities throughout the year. The school was also involved with a lot fundraising and charitable events. Overall the school is excellent. The pricipal, teachers and parents are extremely friendly. Everyone knows each other and looks out for each others children. It is like an extension of our family. We love our school!

My family relocated from the Bronx to Brooklyn in March '04. I did my research on schools and thought this would be a good fit but I was still nervous and I didn't know what to expect from the transition especially since my children were joining a new school so late in the semester. But, I have to say that PS312 embraced my children the minute we registered them and made them feel very comfortable and immediately felt like they fit right in the 312 family. It was painless. The children just loved their new school and couldn't wait to start again that September. they were both eventually excepted into the Eagle program. They have advanced and achieved so much since they have been there. My son has graduated now, but misses 312 a lot. He holds a lot of good memories from there. My daughter will sadly graduate in 6/09.
