This school almost ruined my entire junior high school experience. I was enrolled for 6th and 7th grade around the year 2001-2002. There is no sense of a real school environment whatsoever, classes are rushed through by teachers who couldn't care less about the students, most of the subjects are taught by a single teacher except foreign language and physical education. There were no lockers or anywhere to store one's belongings so theft was common amongst the students. The cafeteria food is nauseating and in my personal opinion was much worse than the public school I ended up transferring into. The priest was viewed as a much more prominent and important figure than the principal. After I transferred to a public school, I actually got to experience a real school environment. There was a teacher for each subject, many activities and extra curricular activities, guidance counselors for help if needed, and many more benefits such as lockers. Classes such as wood-shop and photography actually sparked interest in me that I previously believed could not be attained through schooling. I got to experience school for what it really was when I left THPS and enjoyed it so much more.

Born, Baptized and Bred in a loving, youth oriented Church led me on a long journey to the Three Hierarchs Parochial School. From the T.H.Y. to the Sunday School to the GOYA I was nurtured in Orthodoxy. Looking for a Nursery school for my first son the doors were open at Three Hierarchs. The rest is history or her story. I served as an active, concerned parent, became a parochial school teacher and was honored to serve as Principal. My labor of love as an educator grew at Three Hierarchs. Providing my children with the best education and high standards to achieve their goals was truly remarkable. I have only the best memories during my tenure as Principal. Students greet me with their rembrances and it is wonderful. Youth is the beginning and I thank all my students and their parents for putting their trust in me, the faculty, the staff and most of all our clergy for their spiritual guidance every day. God Bless the Three Hierarchs Parochial School Past, Present, and Future.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
