You know a school is great when there is always a waiting list, AND the the teachers own children attend the school.

Nowhere else in Brooklyn can you find muslim teachers with 20+ years of experience educating muslim children in the New York City area. The staff here is magnificent, and the parents are dedicated and committed. The atmosphere is one of love, discipline, and scholarship- all the essential ingredients for excelling students.

My kids were behind when they started @ Islamiya. The staff there are very thorough and disiplined. My kids loved it there. It was their home away from home for 2 yrs. It was a heart felt good-bye. In short, they worked wonders. My kids have now surpassed me in arabic and quran!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
