Ms 267 is a great school. Each teachers believes that each child is there own individual person and has the ability to learn. Not only does a child come to school to learn they look forward to building a relationship with there teachers. Ms267 offers these things. Each child feels protected by our loving security guards, deans and staff members. This school has Excellent teachers,Strong principal/school leadership and Challenging academic programs. I would recommend this school before any other.

The school has made great progress and is doing wonderful things by exposing students to Broadway shows for free, raising the bar by having Saturday Test Prep and Super Saturday Test Prep (9am-4pm), Regents and Specialized High School Prep Programs, Curriculum Nights to inform Parents of the upcoming year's curriculum. The school is REALLY trying to improve their image but has done a good job in improving their academic programs as well. I think their next step should be to build better communication with the people of the community and parents because they're doing good things IN the school but there is LITTLE support from parents and people in the community.

This school has made progress but remains seriously under par. Concerned parents need to know that the technology component is totaly lacking both substance and working technology. There is no real effort except lip service given to specialized Math or Science training. In short, academicially there is much smoke but no real fire. In addition, there is a serious tendency to ignore student safety issues with inaccurate reporting. If you want your children to remain in the 'hood' send them to this school. But, If you want more than the mediocre possibility of a decent middle school education and second rate high school placement for your children seriously look elsewhere.
