I was apart of the first graduating class of HSPS, and my four years attending this school was one of the best I have experienced. Mr. Ben Shuldiner came to my house to tell me about the school. He always cared about our safety sometimes escorting us to the bus stop and the whole staff there was very caring. The curriclum is wonderful and the teachers make sure they challenge the students.

I am speaking from experience. I am the mother of 5 and I now have two children attending High School For Public Service. I am behind my children's education 100% until they achieve their goals. High School for Public Service is the best school that I have ever been to. When I walk through the doors of that school, I notice the difference unlike the other schools. I see great leadership, discipline, commitment and a very warm, friendly and supportive staff. No wonder why they have 98% Graduation Rate, 98% Attendance Rate and a Grade A on the School Report Card. I will highly reccommend this school to any parents.

on the 8/7/2010 school was opend and today is the 8/29/2010 and the kids have not even get lockers this is the second year this school have been behind, first day of school my child came home mommy if you don't fill out the lunch form i will not get a locker. All im saying before you send your kids to this school just investigate. there is some many things they need to improve on like teachers not letting the kids do there own thing during class .

Well im a freshman that just attended HSPS and so far it have been great. The teachers are very cool, has great teaching skills and you hardly have to strain yourself when your in class becaus ethe teachers already do a magnificent job teaching the work, the student are respectful, goal oriented and coorperative. This school is a great school, we even live up to our name by going out 1 day in a year and doing community service (service Day). Theirs one thing that make our school unique and it is that our school is one of the only schools in brooklyn with a farm. Lee.C

High school for public service or hsps isa ok school. I like the extracurrliculars and the teachers. What i hate about this skewl is that we have to much masteries and we get out of school at 3:15. It is not that i dislike the school its just that the rules and how they make us complete 200 hrs of service. But other than that this school is cool ( most of the time).

I like this school but I hate the rules. If you wear an otusife sweater you can get suspened for it. If you are late you can also get suspended for that to. I like the teachers . because they are fun and cool. They have great afterschoolprograms. Even if you want to stay back late you can if a teacher alllows it. The library is a great place to hang but the libarian is strict.

I am the parent coordinator at the school and I must say this is one of the most close knit staffs I have worked with. The administration and teachers work together for one common goal and that is to help our students succeed and to give them the best education possible. At times I get calls from 8th grade parents wondering how they can get their child into our school.

I attend HSPS and i will be entering the 10th grade. Public Service is a great place to send your child honestly because of their impressive curricula. This school pushes students to achieve their goals, (including me). It's obviously the best school on campus, and has the highest graduation rate in brooklyn! Kids, if you are thinking about this school i reccommend, Parents, your children would be in good hands amd would have an open mind about learning.
