This school offers many exciting and fun programs for children in District 75. It allows the students to experience all areas of art, academics and extra curriculars. The staff are exceptional and are very open to working with the families. The communications is excellent. They are welcoming to parents with their open-door policy. My daughter has been there for 2 years and it is the best school. Pros: Great staff throughout, excellent communication, collaborative teaching across all areas of curriculum, vocational training, so many arts and music access, performances, lunchtime organized and allows self sufficiency for kids(lunch/breakfast hardest times for most of the kids), Goes to age 21. Cons: Hard to get into (limited space-testament to hoe amazing they are parents don't take kids out),metal detectors(for the HS kids who have ED classification (no interaction with the JHS pop), Long distance travel for my daughter (90 min bus ride)

This school has a number of sites. It's for kids with special needs and has both self contained and inclusive programs and work programs. My son was in this program and it did wonders for him and his social skills. Please help them.
