Teacher effectiveness: Neutral

Some teachers were good. Others were just sad excuses for teachers. The teachers have no backbone to stand up for themselves or their students. They do not know how to be effective all the time.

Amount of homework: no rating

They always gave a lot of homework. They m ake students carry textbooks so heavy, I thought my back was going to break.

How can a school whose leadership is dishonest and unfair develop it in children? This school supports bullies and bullying, and cliques.

This is a good school with terrible leadership. I graduated a few years ago and it was the same principal. She is vindictive and does not know how to deal with any challenges. She thinks she is wonderful and does everything right. She never thinks there is room for any improvement. Teachers are afraid of her and just does what she says. The principal is a bully. I have experienced it.

Many of the teachers have been at the school for years and are effective. Some students are children and grandchildren of former students. They do not always get the praise they deserve. Very few teachers are unprofessional, inexperienced and ineffective.

Amount of homework: Disagree

Too much! Some students have hours of homework. Parents have been complaining about the weight of book bags for years and the damage it may be doing to students backs, as they are often required to carry heavy textbooks back and forth. That is of course, unless you are willing to pend an additional $25.00 to "rent" a textbook. They never provide online textbook resources to students to ease this problem.

This school rewards students who financially support the school beyond tuition costs. If you question anything, your child is immediately excluded from having a fair, equal opportunity of any rewards within the school, such as student of the month. They believe and actively participate in bullying behavior by excluding those students whose parents raise any concerns.

They have no idea how to handle the psychology of a 3 year old. I left town, gave the school a warning that we'd never been separated, and my child went into Potty training regression. They didn't care at all. Wouldn't work with me. Gave others the benefit of the doubt, but not my child. My child had a terrible experience and I pulled her out of the school. Send them to this school later, but don't send them here to PK3.

The PK3 teacher Mrs. Flugger is very sweet. But because she exists under an archaic principal, that is somewhat of a moot point.

My child was taught that making mistakes (potty training accidents) are a reason to feel bad about herself. So, I don't believe that teaches fairness or integrity.
