i personalty go to this school, and i will graduate in 2012. i have to say that the school is fairly new, and the teachers are so willing to help anybody out. the relationships that have had throughout my 4 years here have been great. i have to admit thought that the campus itself did not have a good relationship and i was scared in the beginning as every freshman is when they come into a new environment but after a few weeks i have to say that i enjoyed my years in this school i recommend it. in fact i am going to graduate with an advanced regents diploma.

AEL is beginning its upward movement during its third year. The principal and the assistant principal are working very diligently to provide the teachers the support and the resources they need. The teachers are a mix of new teachers and veteran teachers, all working together to create a safe, educationally sound environment.

there is no education really being provided for the students teacher do not care fo the students well beings and the principal do not show any kind of interest

About the tests


In 2012-2013 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, Earth science and physics. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.

About the tests


In 2012-2013 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, Earth science and physics. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate.
