This school is a great atmosphere and has something for everyone. You meet new people and learn how to spell. Teachers are phenominal.

I think that the first review of the high school is an absolute joke. As an alum of the school, I was extremely prepared for college (more than most of my college friends). As far as the athletic programs, they are among the best in the area. Most of our sports compete year in and year out for Conference and Sectional titles. This consistency is rare. As someone that is currently an Assistant Athletic Director at an NCAA Division I program I can attest to that. I played 3 sports at Catskill and went to college on a half academic-half athletic scholarship. I have the great teachers and coaches of Catskill to thank. Rob Bogardus

As an alumni who is now an owner of a successful business, I refute the prior review. Catskill High school opened doors for me and many others. The teachers care a great deal about their students. Joyce Notarnicola who teaches French now upkeeps a website, bravo Joyce. I still remember the medieval SS project, calculus and challenging English classes. Our band led by Mr. Cash traveled the US, won national awards and produced accomplished musicians. Sure it's public, and funds are an issue, but where isn't it? It's safe, clean, and well worth your tax dollars. It's small town living at it's best, and I highly recommend it for your children. Oh and as for the sports program, I see Mr. Schmidt is the athletic director, and now there's no wonder why I've seen the cross country team finish tops in the section recently, and the basketball team is 18-2 this year. Plus, I am estatic to hear about the new soccer fields tennis courts and track, three sports I played. I'd love to go back and do it all over again.
