Cattaraugus is a nice school with a friendly country setting. The classes are not over populated and the teachers seem to go out of their way to help the children. There are after school activities for all the kids including the young ones. They have everything from peewee football and cheerleading to varsity sports. The teachers are up to date on their teaching techniques and dont mind the extra minute or two it takes to help a student. They have just started a new program called PAWS, which helps the kids a lot. It offers rewards for learning. An example is a movie to watch with popcorn and all the trimmings. It seems to be getting great views back from the kids. All in all I think this is a great school for being in a small town and I would recommend it to someone looking to move out here.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
