Love this school. My child came to this school after feeling targeted and singled out because she was different, As a person of color in a predominantly Caucasian public school, she constantly felt misunderstood and alone. Now, she loves going to school everyday and comes home speaking about academics and what she has learned. She is so much happier and is able to learn more and faster with the smaller class sizes. She is still one of few students of color, but the small size classes makes a difference, and here she does not feel misunderstood, isolated and singled out because she is different. Academically she is being challenged in every area, at her speed of growth. It is a wonderful place for a child to learn and grow!
This is a school where a child's social, emotional and academic spirit is encouraged to develop. Where a child's growth is nutured according to the child's needs and abilities. The faculty, especially the director, Sandra Loughran, has a personal relationship with each child, knows the child well and works with the parents to help with all facets of their child's development. Our daughter left this school with confidence in herself and her academic abilities because of the warmth, caring and direction of all involved at this school.
