Chateaugay Central is an excellent learning institution. I attended this school K-12 and experienced a lifetime of learning. The administration provides a safe and challenging atmosphere. The disobedient are dealt with justly and expulsion was used on a last option basis. The disobedient were removed from the environment and given time to learn in a lower student to adult ratio. Learning is the primary function; athletics are central to the school and local community. Teachers promote a respectful learning environment. Students are able to express personal growth, but are kept unaware that the administrators and teachers know what is going on in and out of school. Parents that support the learning objective and necessity of after-school studies yield students that attain success. Students are forced to learn independence through use of h/w assignments. This review is provided in hind-sight and solely in my opinion.
