Eldorado children that are advanced only reap the benefit of Mrs. Goldbergs gifted and talented program guidance. These children, however, are not challenged in class and need greater academic rigor. The philosophy of the 4's bringing up the 1's and 2's is beneficial only to the 1&2s. I hope they look into providing challenging opportunities for the 3's and 4's. Many parents speak to it, but most don't feel comfortable approaching it as a global issue.
My son started fourth grade in Eldorado last year,2003. He is extremely happy and so am I. This school not only has great teachers but also makes the students and parents both feel extremely welcome and part of the Eldorado family. This school is run by a fantastic principal. My son was very fond of his 4th grade teacher, who made his first year at Eldorado an enjoyable experience. This is what our students need to help them learn. THANK YOU ELDORADO STAFF
