Both my children go to circleville and i must say, i have never seen a school run so smooth. the teachers are very wonderful and really take out the time to really get to know the children. thier is one teacher there who i think is the best, and he really needs to be praised... his name is brian eller. my daughter had him in the fourth grade and i honestly am lost for words. he did everything in this power to help my daughter feel at home. my daughter is very shy and to her self, and he just gave her this confidence that she wasnt affraid to try anything. he would call me at home to follow up with me on any letters of concern i would send to class. my daughter would come home almost everyday and say mr. Eller makes learing fun, and she did great.

My son started kindergarten in Sept of 06 and this was our first year in the school district. I couldn't be happier with the school.

I have been involved with this school since 2000 as a volunteer. I find that all of the staff has one thing in common and that is the well being of the student (our children). This would tell you that the Principal is doing a great job, as everyone is on the same page. I am not happy with the new 'No Student Left Behind' policies as I find too much time is spent memorizing test materiel. I find the teachers are more than capable of administering to the needs of the student - they are all well qualified. The PTA is fantastic - they also have the children's needs first and foremost - it is a wonderful environment for your child.

Programs and teaching is on a slow pace, trying to meet NY standards. NOT AGGRESSIVE. Would like to see less worksheets and more teaching. They need advance classes for the kids who are meeting the NY standards and who are doing exceeding more. Concerns on having kids with behavioral problems in the classroom with other children. It is major distraction for the children. Bus safety, bullying & over-crowed buses needs to be addressed before a child gets real hurt. The PTA is doing just GREAT in raising money and somewhat organize. The meetings are more of a Night out for 'PTA Moms . Outside of trying to find volunteers they fail to encourage parent and teacher involvement. No real concerns because trying to find Parents to take on leadership roles is Null. Overall feel- Mediocre Education -NOT impressed.

I have found that when both my children attended this school it was satisfactory in the quality of teachers is had. The xtra-curricular was also fine. But I found that the music wasn't as much as other school programs had, plays and dramas -none. Also if there was anything to complain about it is how much they push kids to get good scores on the standardized tests.

I love this school, the close knit parenting and the dedicated staff. The Principal and Asst. Principal truly get to know ALL of the students and their weaknesses and strengths and work with the teachers to help them reach their best. I am so happy that my son is there and receiving the education that they provide.

My daughter is entering 2nd grade this school year and I am very pleased with the education she is receiving. I love her teachers and all other school personel. They have made her and I very happy and comfortable. I just wish there were a few after school--school related--activities.
