This is an exceptional school that focuses many resources on character education, team work, and a well-rounded education. The music department is phenomenal and definitely a strong point. The enrichment program is very good. I can't say enough positive things about the principal -he is one in a million. He is warm, welcoming, sincere, and dedicated to creating the best environment he can. Clarence Center parents love this school!
this school is awesome!! Mrs. Bossert is an amazing 2nd grade teacher, she takes time to really teach and understand the kids! i highly recommend this school to anyone looking to move here!
While Clarence Center Elementary School System is an outstanding school, I feel that the lack of diversity in the school in race and economics is not fully preparing children for the real world. Also, a child at this school I have heard him (a Latino child) come home telling me a lot of racist and hurtful words he has heard against Latino, African American, and poor people. This *is* something the school needs to address. As for the teachers, they are phenonemal.
Clarence Center Elementary has been an outstanding learning environment for our daughter. She has been exposed to many different levels of learning by being in an inclusive class and helping others in her class. Clarence Center's principal is an exemplary leader that we are blessed to have.
I choose Clarence for their reputation for special education, as I have 2 special needs children. I've been nothing but disappointed with the district. The Director of Special Ed does not return phone calls or follow through on what he says he will do in CSE (IEP) meetings. I'm waiting a month for information from him, and still nothing. If you're looking for a district based on special education, I'd suggest you try Williamsville. I wish I did.
This school is the best. This school gives nothing but the best. It will never give anything but the best this is a very strong school. And the principal strives to give nothing but the best. The techers are the absolute best and they are the nicest I have ever met.
