The pricipal is FABULOUS! I found some of the teaching staff lacking in common sense. As long as you stay on top of them they are ok. If you are not a parent to get involved, your children will be swept under the rug.

Our experience with Guardino Elementary has been extremely positive. My daughter is in first grade so I can't speak to higher grades, but thus far the teachers seem very involved and there is a very strong education culture that begins with the administration and continues throughout the school. The music program is exceptional and Miss Stirling is a tremendous asset for the district. Parent involvement seems to be above average with an active PTO and based on turnout at events like the Art Show, the open house and family fun night.

This school offers extracurricular activities and has a good level of electivies. Music, Art, Technology. The art teacher is great! Music is active. Special need areas ex..reading recovery have wonderful teachers. There are opportunities for parents to get involved. It is a Good education. Teachers must have a Masters.

Wonderful learning environment. Curriculum is truly geared towards learning. Teachers are involved and informed. Concentrated on the child's reading habits and capabilities at the time it was most needed. Fostered a true learning environment.
