The best school I went to. The prinicpal(who is retiring at the end of the year sadly) is/was very helpful, he had help students who had trouble during school whether it was depression or kicking the drug habit. The teachers were great, food was great even though they are starting to get pricey, sports team are great even if the team has a losing record.
This school is not that good at all. People rant and rave about it but I'm not sure why. The school is never clean; it's absolutely disgusting. Some of the teachers are great but a good half or maybe even 3/4 stink. The class selection is little. The number of teachers is dwindling, along with the number of advanced classes. They're being cut. The school's going absolutely broke and they're cutting courses over sports. If I may add, the majority of people that attend this school are rich and snobby. I know you get that in all schools, but it's horrible at this school. It's also very small. Less than 130 people per graduating class. There's a really bad drug problem, too. Anyway, my main problem is that my grades suffer because many of the teachers don't teach well. Or they just don't even teach. The courses have dwindled down to nothing. The guidance counselors can barely give any guidance. I just... even though this school has some good points the bad points overpower it. My education comes first and this school does not cater to that anymore.
I currently attend Clinton Senior High School, this is my junior year. Clinton has an amazing faculty that builds strong relationships with each of their students individually and collectively. They are lead by a fabulous principal who is actively involved in all aspects of the school. The student body is extremely supportive of their students and peers involved in other academic areas and activities. I couldn't ask to be enrolled in a better school.
I currently attend Clinton High School and I love the curriculum. I have attended another high school in the area and the classes at other schools are just so small they don't have room for any of the advanced classes like SUPA and AP. I often miss my old school but I agree with my choice to move to Clinton because I have a much greater advantage in life with the courses offered here.
I'm a junior at Clinton and I currently love it a lot.
I attend Clinton high school, and am currently a senior. I love this school, and wouldn't choose any other school to attend in the area. The teachers are wonderful and always ready for questions and help. The principal, Mr. Hunt, is a caring, dedicated man, with great leadership skills, and friendly and welcoming with all students. The AP and honors courses are exquisite, and I was well prepared for the AP tests I took. Resource and academic help is offered as well. I highly recommend this school to those considering somewhere to attend.
I went here for 4 years and even though scool wasnt my favorite thing...Clinton was a great school. I also believe that it is one of the best public high schools in NY state.
