I want to move to a different house, but I don't want my children to go anywhere else in Corning; I love Winfield. I think the Principal knows every childs name. He makes a point of meeting people and getting to know them. The staff really enjoy working together and it shows. Excellent teachers, excellent support.
Winfield is a wonderful, small school with a dedicated teaching staff who is committed to helping children learn. Special needs students are highly valued and appreciated at Winfield. ELA scores have imroved and the schoolwide focus is on continuing to improve the state scores. I would recommend Winfield for its level of committment for student success.
Winfield is a place that nurtures a child. The teachers that are employed here are absolutely WONDERFUL. Communication and teaching EXCELLENT. They have definitely gone above and beyond what I have ever expected in their positions!!
