It is a small country school that is very well run and has the feel of a family not just a school. The teachers and students are great.
I love the wonderful caring community.
The close-knit community in and out of the school. Virgil school takes care of their own with the Virgil community standing behind the school. It's small enough to where all the teachers and principal know who every child and parent are.
The school provides an amazing community atmosphere. Everyone looks after everyone--oldest to youngest and back. The principal is hardworking and puts in many hours to ensure the children are safe, the teachers have what they need and the studenets are prepared to do well on all State Assessments. The Parent Organization is very involved and raises money to buy many things for the school. They also conduc many family activities. It is a great school. Where else would a principal drop off work for a sick child, pick up a student who missed the bus, sit with a child who had no one to pick them up, arrange for scholarships at the After School Program and more. The teachers are available on the phone and through email--any time and they encourage and invie you in to volunteer.
I can't begin to say enough good things about this school. The staff is exceptional. The kids are taught to treat each other like family and to respect each other and their teachers. There is no other place I would want my child to go to school!
I can't begin to convey how much I love this school. I have two children who attend and they both are very happy with the school also. The teachers are very caring and dedicated to the children/family. There is a sensee of family at the school. I know sending my child there will provide them with an exceptional education.
I also am very happy that the Virgil School will remain open. My Child has been a student at Virgil for 3 years . The teachers are caring and very dedicated to the kids. The principal runs the school very smoothly and knows all the kids names. We are very happy that are child is getting a wonderful education in Virgil.
So glad this school was voted to remain open. It is an exceptional school and I am proud to have a student enrolled with another one coming up in a few years!
Virgil School is a wonderful school! Our children are lucky to have such a caring atmosphere to learn in. Your child is known, by name, by the entire staff in the school. The school offers a great education in a wonderful setting. Our children are not only learning traditional reading, writing and math, but are learning how to be good people!
Virgil school is an amazing little school. The teachers, principle and staff feel like family. From the first week my son,a kindergardener, has shown tremendous progress. The school is not only known for its high standards academically, but it stresses good citizenship, manners and caring among its students and staff. Virgil school teaches your children the way you would if you could home school. It not only is producing smart students, but it's producing good and kind members of society. Thank You Virgil School!
