Blue Mountain Middle School

The school is very disorganized and cares for only pay and days off. Education is important, but the homework load is quite overwhelming. The stress on students is unnecessary.

This school has high standards for its students however, the home work load and expectation from specific teachers are overwhelming. Some teachers are very disconnected from the children and has forgotten what their purposes as teachers are. Many of these teachers are looking for tenure and summers off.Try taking to a few of these teachers about the home work load and many will immediately think that your child need accomodation. The level of home work over all in schools today is overwhelming and put unecessary stress on the children and the parents. Blue Mountain is an excellent school in a wonderful community however, the school can address how specefic teachers speak and treat the children and the issue of overload of 7 days of unecessary home work. THe education is good but, the attitude towards students can be improved.

The academic at bmms seem to improve yearly.there is a higher then i like teacher turn over. some teachers have been there a little too long and have lost what they need to deal with this age goup. the leadership is a litte much at times, were i believe then think we live in a perfit world. over all i like the school and what it has taught my 4 kids.

Teachers are on average are wonderful, but test grades sould be MUCH higher.
