If your child needs special ed services, be ready to fight for them. For the average child, it's a great school system.
The school is too mall to have enough interesting classes for the kids and the administration is too focused on the sciences - the humanities are very weak.
Strong School. Excellent academic programs, but could offer more electives. Large level of parent involvment.
New Construction will alleviate the main complaint: crowding. Faculty is fantastic, student body is interesting and diverse. Little presence of drugs and smoking unless searching for it.
Croton-Harmon High School offers a very high level of teaching, and a low teacher-student ratio.
