Except for a small group of uninformed vocal parents and union leadership bent on bringing back the lazy old days, this is a great school. Board is made up of disgruntled former teachers, If you were a poor teacher, how are you going to be a competent board member? A recipe for disaster. Great kids, staff and hard working administration.

Great teacher an suppor staff, administration needs to be replaced. I have taken my chid out ofthis school district due to dishonest behavior on the part of the administration.

Teachers are great. Administration needs to be replaced. Curriculum needs to be set. Low test scores on state exams. Something needs to be done. This school needs a complete turn around!

The school has fallen very shot under the current administration. It needs more parent involvement.

Current administration runs a course that is not child friendly. Make decisions with out collaborating with faculty and community. Decisions are clearly for their own gains and not the students. If countinues on current course Charlotte Valley will no longer exist.

CVCS is a disaster. Present Administration couldn't be doing more to drive the school into the ground and alienate the children and the community at large.

The Charlotte Valley Central School was identified by the State Education Department in February 2004 as most improved based upon student achievement on state assessments. A strong sense of pride exists in the school and community. The school continues to perform well while operating on limited resources. The administration, faculty, and staff are committed to long-range comprehensive planning for continued success.
