The principal was a big phony. They had a ton of bullying programs yet the teachers and principals could use some education on handling bullying themselves. His values were not sincere at all. That's why my kid goes to private school instead. Parents looking for a school in this area, don't pick this one. Please.

I think everything in this school could be better. And they should be more careful with kids.

Excellent school, engaged teachers. Originally considering moving kids to a private school, but decided to wait. After 5 years, am consistently impressed with the quality of the education and the balance they offer.

Very disappointed with the sincerity of this school. The principal is not fully involved with parents and children. Multiple field trips are taken at the expense of parents and school-day academics. Teachers ask for too many supplies and 'gifts.' The test scores have dropped. Better leadership quality and community support is much needed. More safety with children is demanded both at school and on the buses by parents. Big diversified school which lacks pride and community bonding.

The principal and teachers need to address problems with bullies and behavioral problems. Better class make-up and much-needed guidance over curriculum and teachers are a major concern with parents. Music program is poor.

I love this school. First, the principal has his priorities in the right place. He's all about the children, staff, curriculum and safety. He's approachable by all, and brings the right spirit into the school. What a total joy. And the teachers are wonderful. I specifically really have a wonderful teacher teaching my son. She know just what to do to challenge my son to the fullest, without stressing him out. She makes learning fun for him, yet absolutely gets the content needed to be covered, covered. And the parents are very involved, and welcoming. What a wonderful place for a child and a family. Vanderbilt has been a great experience.
