i think it is a wonderful school there is lots of activities for students 2 do and it is fun for them and they like going to school...

Teaching staff turnover has created a dynamic school climate. The enthusiasm among the staff is refreshingly upbeat. However, overall student prepareness prior to entry into the school is a detriment to student performance. Too many students entering 9th grade lack basic skills.

Excellent Teachers and staff, including the Principal and Assistant Principal! There's always room for more parent involvement. I do wish their website was more up-to-date. Some information is very old and some links within the site are missing a lot of information because it hasn't been added yet.

Great guidance counseling at this school. Both academically and socialy.

There is a poor selection of classes. There are many sports and activities, but music and art is limited. Parents are not involved at this school.

For this school Dunkirk High school the academic progams are not quite reaching kids. they need to have more interations with the course. they just cant be sitting in a hard desk for the whole day. But as for the extra curricular activties such as art music and sports they reach out to the students much more. They have many after school programs available to the students.. But as for what I think, parents need to have more interactions with there child's school.
