This school is very welcoming, my daughter ,and two cousin were educated in this school from kindergarten. I love the fact that Brother Edward knows each student by first and last name basis. Brother Edward is family to us and the entire staff and student body. It truly is a pleasure to know that i send my child off to school in an environment that treats her like family and very fundamental for her education. Brother Edward also incorporates the best educational support from St John's University with Dr. Jeffrey and others. My daughter is very confident in her academics and social life in St Gabriels. I would like to thank St Gabriel and staff for everything and keep up the good work . see you in September 2010.

I am a proud parent of two young ladies in grades 2 and 8. St. Gabes is an overall good school. Children need a stable environment both in home and school especially in the formative years of their lives. St. Gabes provides that for my children. The school has a warm and family oriented environment. The teachers very caring and embraces each children from their heart. I do believe though that they could place more emphasis on decipline. It's a harder generation now so I do believe that they do need to have stronger deciplinary measures for the children. I am very happy that Brother William K has come onboard he is and exceptional asst. principal. Thank you St. Gabes

My oldest daughter attended St. Gabriel and proceeded to go on to TAG program and is in an independent school. She would have never been able to have that great opportunity without a Great Head Start at St. Gabriel. The Principal, Bro. Edward, school secretary, Mrs. Palmer and the teachers are great!!! I would advise any parent to send their children there for an outstanding education especially during the formative years.

Academically the school is on target. The school has excellent extracurricular activities for the children and the coaches and volunteers not only encourage the children, but they are also dedicated and responsible. At St. Gabriel's you get the feeling of a tight community - were everyone can be involved and the principal is wonderful.

St. Gabriel's is a great school. The classroom size are not large. The Principal knows every student by name. I enjoy running track and representing my school. I'm very happy and lucky to be a student at St. Gabriels. My zone Public School is horrible, my cousins attend P.S. 127 and have problems there on a regular basis. The teachers are great at saint gabes. We had alot of fun on spirit day this year. I am looking forward to my future at St. Gabriels. Deja.3rd grader in Sept 2004

I attend St Gabriels school myself. I am in the 7th grade and I will be graduating in 2005. St Gabriels is a good school it has taughtt me alot of new things. It has helped me become a better person. Teachers are nice, the sports program is very great, the coaches are very nice. The only bad thing with St Gabriels is that the bathrooms have no soap the floor is dirty we need air conditioner beacuse in the summer is very hot inside the school need alot of things to be fix but overall the education is very good and the people there are very nice. I advise parents to send their children to St Gabriel's because the edcation is excellent.

I have three children attending St. Gabriel School. My youngest started there in Pre-K3 and had Mrs. Cox as his teacher. Mrs. Cox is the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful teacher with a whole lot of patience. Your child will come home smarter and singing songs no doubt he/she will be eager to return to school. I could go on. Overall, St. Gab's is a great school, with its teachers and sports program. The principal (Brother Ed) is a caring man, that knows each child by name. You will see him every morning outside in the yard and also when school is let out. He greets the children and watch out for their saftey at the end of the day. I could go on. The only one thing I wish, is to have the money to furnish the school with two classrooms with new computers. They try to keep tuition low and affordable or else I would not have been able to send my three children to a private school. I tried to get computers donated by the city. But since it was not a public school they denied me. I hope I can give back to St. Gabriel's School one day, for they gave me and my children a whole lot. My oldest son graduated last year and I am very satisfied with this school. Thank you
