Holy Spirit Elementary School

The facts about this school are as follosws: 1) they are not required to have board certified teachers (and the ineffective ones, which the school coninues to employ, are not) 2) in 2010 they recently hired a new principal. The one present from 2007-2009 realy let things go 3) the school really only listens to the opinion of a certain core group of parents 4) It is my hope that the new principal can restore the school to its former glory (2006 and before) and reestablish it as the great school it can be As with any school, research it thoroughly (especially the later elementary grades) before you make your final decision

This is a tremendous school that teaches not only challenging curriculum but also strong morals. Teachers communicate with parents very well, and they always have the best interest of the child in mind. The students are prepared for high school, as many high school teachers have pointed out to me. Graduates of Holy Spirit School go on to attend academically competetitive colleges.

Holy Spirit truly prepares its students for today's world. The school has a very strong sense of Catholic identity. The teachers are warm, compassionate and innovative. Several have one awards of recognition for their excellence. There is a strong family involvement and student centered environment. It is one of the few Catholic Schools in the Albany area that is not in danger of closing. Take a look at this excellent school!
