I have two boys in the school. The set up of school is poor, difficult to get through the school halls. Very crowded. I worry about their ventilation system. Food stinks. Academically, if you are in the upper classes you will do very well, but if you are not I question the level of education. Lots of cliques. Kids tend to come from very rich families and very poor families. Large Hispanic influence - part of the strange socioeconomic makeup of this resort community. This group has not yet infiltrated the advanced classes. Lots of kids in the upper classes apply for good and great colleges.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in english language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for english language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics, global history and geography, US history and government, french, italian, and spanish are displayed in GreatSchools profiles.
