My child was in this school during the first grade. He had a fantastic teacher which demostrated dedication and thorough knowledge. Her name is Mrs. DeVerna. She taught my child to become a avid reader. It's teachers like her that make Bellerose a great school.
Mrs. Falatico (the principle) is fantastic. Really cares about the student and due to her special ed background pays special attention to any issues that may neeed special attention. the staff is awesome, close-knit and knowledgable. I have complete confidence in this school and its programs.
Bellerose Avenue school is a wonderful place for any child to go to school. The teachers and aides know all of the children and are very helpful and interactive with parents. I have found them to be compassionate and patient with the students. It really is a wonderful environment and there are many extracurricular opportunities available for the children. It appears to me that the teachers at this school are very dedicated to their work and they really enjoy it too.
