This isn't a separate school designed for students with disabilities. It is a PRIVATE school. Again, private schools should be treated like always: disrespect because they think they are better than other people. Why attend a private school when public schools are available? Instead of using the land for Harmony Heights, it can be used for something else that the public can all benefit i.e. a store. But no, it's Harmony Heights, only for children to benefit. Excuse my sarcasm, but I just do not like private schools and the way they think and operate. Why don't school districts use publicly financed alternatives instead of using the more expensive option? THIS SCHOOL SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO GO!

Wow! The 2004 reviewer describes the school as it is today as well. This is an environment for girls that are very "under the radar". If she attends regularly and quietly does her work, your daughter will be fine. A student that needs more than that won't cut it. The administration is absolutely clueless and penalizes girls rather than nurtures them. They are not what they present themselves to be and they don't care. As was told to my daughter, "there's a stack of applications of girls trying to get in"...There is a fast turnover rate of students as well as staff. If they don't like you the admin. will say your daughter is not a "good match" and try to send you on your way. Know your rights and have a good special ed lawyer on speed dial. They ARE federally funded and are NOT a private school so make them adhere to state laws. Good luck!

Excellent school! I attended this school for 2 1/2 years. The staff was great! I would have never graduated high school without their help and support.

Harmony Heights is who you know! Or should I say who they prefer. A federally funded school who believes they carry an Elite Private Status. If your daughter is not liked by this administration 'watch out'. Although they claim to raise self esteem in students they do a better job by shooting it down. The teachers are wonderful but beware, the turn over rate is fast and furious. Before you have your daugter attend this institution know your rights; your gonna need to or they may never allow her the right to graduate.
