My daughter came to Pathways School as a "6th grader". She was a non-reader, knew only simple math calculations, and had poor processing abilities. She is on the Autism Spectrum with learning disabilities that had never been addressed. We were duped by the public school who never gave us much hope for her despite her solid IQ. Since Pathways, our daughter and family have never been the same! In 2 years she can read solidly at a 4th grade level and high school material with supports. She is fluent in Math working up into Algebra concepts. She processes life differently. My advice to parents struggling with their child is to find the appropriate placement for your child. Appropriate really is miraculous!
