Great school, they have amazing teachers and a nice small town atmosphere! The performing art programs is excellent. The computer program is far better than any other school in the area. Mr. Colby is a great teacher, and goes above and beyond!

ELCS is a great school especially if you want to get the small town experience for your children. We have about 400 students K-12, class sizes tend to average at about 25 students. Students become well acquainted with each other in such a close knit community. Everyone knows everyone else, and shares at least one thing in common with then or their family. It is not an extreme, but a moderate setting that will give any child the experience of a more one-on-one with teachers/faculty. There are a lot of extra curriculars to get involved in, and sports are very popular here, yet less competative to get on the team. There is normally no problem for any student to participate with such small numbers, anyone is welcomed. There is cheerleading, golf, soccer boys/girls, basketball boys/girls, and softball as well as baseball, and the optional track and swimming.
