I got my daughter away from this school because she wasn't one of the chosen ones. She was bullied, harassed and ignored by students and teachers alike. When I witnessed the offenses or her dad did and we went directly to the administration or teachers directly we were basically ignored and nothing was ever done to help my child or to the ones who were bullying her because they were the athletic stars and teachers pets. I have no doubt in my mind that if I had left my daughter in this school there would have been serious mental issues to deal with later. I moved her to Southside and it's like watching a completely different person, the person I knew was there but just needed a chance to be herself without being teased and bullied.
They communicate well and always are concerned about your needs.
I think this school is great, the small classes and friendly atmosphere have helped me pull up my grades alot. I would suggest this to anyone it is a wonderful productive school and i feel very content here
i am a student at edison high school and the teacher quality is horrible . edison boasts to be a school of high standing in athletics bvut this school only have a handful of sports teams excluding football, but i cannot lie mr barbetta is a great principal.
All around great school, i would not have wanted to go to any other high school in New York State. The Heights community is very close and is always helping in any way they can. With the small number of students that attend the district. It is possible to know every one, very helpfull knowing all the teachers as well as students. A recent allumni from class 2002, I rate this school a 5
